Who leads in corporate world, Reactive or Responsive?
There are two type of behaviors in people, reactive and responsive. Both behaviors co-exist. Both have their own roles to play. Both have their importance. In certain industry, one need to be dominating, in other industry other need to be dominating. In corporate world which behavior leads? Reactive people take fast decision, faster action and almost instant results. This is useful for people in physical work and execution. This is very useful when individual's actions are not directly impacting others. Responsive people are choosy about their decisions, and hence slower. They prefer to analyze and foresee the end repercussion of their actions and based on that they take decisions. They are effective when their decisions and actions are impacting many other people, or when they are part of bigger teams. And most effective when they are leading a team.
